Projector Bulbs 101

If you need bulbs for projectors on your campus, please follow the guidelines below:

1) If your campus already has the bulb and you need it installed, create a Help Desk ticket.  

2) If you do not have a bulb available at your campus, your Admin Assistant knows how to order the bulb. Instructions are on the Buyer's Guide.

Adding Your Email to Your Smart Phone

We know that many of you will be receiving new Smart Phones for Christmas! Of course you will want to set it up with your SBISD Email. Or perhaps Christmas came early for you and you're eager to get your email on the Smart Phone you've already received but aren't sure how. 

The following will show you how to do just that!

Working from Home On Your Laptop

Want to work from home on your SBISD Laptop? Our Cisco VPN client allows you to do just that. Work from home just like you are at your desk! The Cisco VPN client should already be on your computer. 

Look for this icon on your desktop:

To access the VPN client:

1. Double click the icon. This will load a VPN dialog box

2. When the dialog box appears and displays “Please enter a secure gateway to connect to” message insert the 
    following red text into the connect to box: sbvpn.springbranchisd.com

3. Click the Select button.

4. When prompted to accept a security certificate click Yes.

5. Type in your district user name and password and click Connect.

6. The software will start configuring for first use and show a downloading progress bar. Once complete you will see
    a Lock & Globe icon in the bottom ride hand of your computer screen next to the time. This lets you know you
    are connected and able to use your computer like you are at work

7. To disconnect right click on the Lock & Globe icon and select Disconnect. 

* If, for some reason, the Cisco VPN Client is not present, then you will need to install it on your district laptop.
