Reminder: Complete Your Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) Training

If you have not completed your Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) training in Safe Schools or have not electronically signed the AUP document, please remember to do so asap. These items are required of all SBISD Employees who use district technology resources in any capacity.

To access the AUP training please click here.

About a day or so after completing the AUP training, you will receive an email instructing you to electronically sign the AUP Document. This email will contain a link to the document.

We are aware that there have been some technology issues with the policy videos but hope that the benefit of completing these trainings online versus longer classroom times has been advantageous. The feedback we have received to date has been extremely favorable and we are working to find and fix the technology issues.

Should you encounter problems loading any of the policy videos in SAFESCHOOLS Training please try these troubleshooting tips:

If you are having loading problems:

Log in to SAFESCHOOLS with your SBISD login and password and go to the bottom of the page and look for CLASSIC VIEW and click on it. Then try the video.

If that doesn’t work, try this:

Copy the SAFESCHOOLS link from your e-mail and paste it into internet explorer or chrome browser.

To complete the training and receive credit:

1.  Once you have watched the video close the V-Brick video screen (X in the upper right hand corner). Doing this will take you back to the SAFESCHOOLS original link.

2.  Scroll down to the NEXT button and click on it to proceed to the acknowledgement page.

3.  Put a check ✓in the acknowledgement box and then scroll down to the SUBMIT button and click.

4.  The training will then show complete and you will be able to print a copy of your certificate.

If, after performing the above steps, you continue to experience issues logging in, accessing the training material or electronically signing the AUP please contact Cody Wallace at x2278 or cody.wallace@springbranchisd.com
