It’s summertime, come relaxed and ready to camp out at Memorial High School on Tuesday, August 4th with Educational Technology! We’ll convene in the library between 8:00 and 8:30 to set the schedule for the day! Bring your questions, ideas, something you want to share and general curiosity! We’re planning for lots of thoughtful conversations around teaching and learning in digital environments! Learn more on our EdCamp SpringBranch website!

PreK - 2 Classroom Refresh Trainings

During the 2015-16 school year, all PreK-2 classrooms will receive updated classroom devices. PreK-1 classes will be receiving 8 iPad minis and 2nd grade classrooms will receive 12 Chromebooks.  iPad mini trainings will start in the summer focusing on research, still production & video production.  Don’t have an iPad/iPad mini to bring to training? We will have some available for your use. Join us for one or all three 2-hour sessions during Teacher Summer U (July 28, Aug 3 & 5).  Additional iPad training will follow in the beginning weeks of school including iPad “Nuts & Bolts” and Classroom Management.   Bring your teacher laptops.  Second grade teachers should attend the three hour Google Trainings - Collaborating in a Google Apps Classroom I & II offered June 29, July 27 & 29 and August 3.  Also try “The Chrome Ecosystem” on July 29.  Bring your teacher laptops.  Register on Eduphoria.

e.mysbisd.com and mysbisd.com are going away - really!
After running both domains for this past school year, we will be turning off e.mysbisd.com and mysbisd.com for good on June 8th! Please relay this information to your students who might want to migrate some of their Google Apps for Education files over to their new mysbisd.org domain account!
